Did I seriously just write all of that? Wowsers. I hope you enjoyed reading that as much as I enjoyed writing it. It’s great. I finally feel like I’m getting my creative chops back. I’m very happy that this site gets visited on a regular basis. If it were not for my visitors, I probably would have let this blog lapse a long time ago. Instead, you’ve all breathed a little bit of life back into the ember of my creativity. I’ve found the joy of writing again, and for that I truly, truly thank you.
Not many people know this, because well, this is not my personal blog, which can be found at http://www.tillmansmoot.com, but I used to write comics for a while. About 10 or so years ago, I worked for a short time at AC Comics, and actually got about 5 stories published. Unfortunately, the editor and I had a big disagreement of how things should work, and he and his wife resisted the changes that I was trying to put in place for their characters. Well, they were their characters, so they got the final decision.
When all was said and done, we parted ways on pretty good terms, and at least I still have good memories. Since then, I wrote for a while about my Everquest Characters, Motoko and Kaidako, seen here. I still plan on finishing their story, and I think, aside from my Jaynekobb stories, that will become another primary focus of mine. Who knows, perhaps I’ll create another site, just for them.
In the meantime, I think it’s pretty obvious that I wrote this whole thread simply to explain my switch from the standard black and white Nightsaber to the more unique light green and white one. Both my wife and one of my guildmates gave me hell for switching, saying that it was mean. Well, I figured it this way… if I could come up with a story to explain just how it was the same Vera, then I could get away with it.
After reading the installment from a few days ago, my wife finally relented a bit, and said.. “Well, that’s one way of explaining it.”
So, there it is. Green & white Vera is here to stay. She’s unique, she’s adorable and she’s got HUGE fangs!
And, she likes to Chew on Jaynekobb’s head… which I think is just adorable.
